Next Live Event

As we have continued to monitor the daily Covid-19 infection rates in our immediate and surrounding communities, infections have continued to remain concerningly elevated. With the upcoming Thanksgiving holiday, there is probable cause to believe that infections may not decline substantially in the next couple of weeks. For that reason, the leadership at FBC believes our next best date to consider as a possible return to in-person worship is Sunday, December 6, 2020. If infection rates subside and continue to go down in the weeks ahead, we will announce an actual return date. In the meantime, we want to thank you again for your prayers, continued support and encouragement. We are hopeful that (Lord willing!) we will soon return to some sense of normalcy … please join us in praying for that to become a reality.  For now, will be live-streaming all of our regular services, so please tune in and stay tuned in.  If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to call the church office.  May God bless and keep you.

"The Holy Spirit and You" 09/06/2020

Sermon by Jeff Davenport

John 7:37–39 (Listen)

Rivers of Living Water

37 On the last day of the feast, the great day, Jesus stood up and cried out, “If anyone thirsts, let him come to me and drink. 38 Whoever believes in me, as1 the Scripture has said, ‘Out of his heart will flow rivers of living water.’” 39 Now this he said about the Spirit, whom those who believed in him were to receive, for as yet the Spirit had not been given, because Jesus was not yet glorified.
